A damn shame an sign of the times but yes unfortunately schools need to be hardened against this sort of thing. Also, I’m hearing this person opted for this school over another location that was more secure.We have guards at banks, and money can be replaced. Yes, they say they know that she decided against the other school because she knew it had security and this was a "soft target". Talk about providing a lesson on a silver platter.

I haven’t seen a guard in a bank since I was a kid.
There are cameras at banks and tellers are trained and instructed to hand over everything they have to robbers.
Banks are very soft targets.
