The key point is easier to see than this.
If you want an EV, you are going to shop Tesla, Honda or Toyota.
Tesla delivers and the other two have proven track record of building reliability.
No one is going to look at GM, Ford or Chrysler.
All three have a LONG track record of poor engineering of new technology.

We love our 2022 escape PHEV.
IIRC Toyota is the only hold out to NOT commit to 100% EV by 2035(or whatever is the demand date). Correct as needed. 😵
