The administration was particularly irked with the Saudis for not boosting oil production and for refusing to ostracize fellow OPEC+ member Russia over its invasion of Ukraine.

Yet, stupid kills the Keystone XL pipeline project less than two hours after taking office. He drags his heels on the permitting process for oil exploration, reduces the number of oil leases on federal lands and offshore, and then is stupid enough to ask the Saudis for help. And don't fall for the "he actually increase the number of land leases for oil exploration". Yes, but they don't tell you that those leases have already been explored and yield nothing but dry holes.

The rise in distillate fuels since this twit took office is the MAJOR reason for the current inflation. Distribution costs, fertilizer for crops, heating, packaging...you name it: All have oil in the production process and the costs and fault are on this numbskull.

He did all the above and then went out of his way to insult the Saudis dredging up the fact that an Islamic Brotherhood terrorist sympathizer got chopped up in a Saudi embassy in Turkey.

Frankley....so what? Good riddance to him. And why are you deliberately pissing off a key ally? Furthermore, why are you doing so right after sabotaging our own oil/gas production? Then you have to turn right around and beg them for a favor.

Idiot.

And US bases near Syrian oil fields getting hit by missiles to
“oppose” Russian access to ports and Syrian autonomy. Even if I thought Biden’s oil sanctions made sense, I would not think US troops and workers should be sitting ducks.
