Would you endorse a person for President who implied you were a pedophile repeatedly simply because some people speculated you might be a challenger in his reelection?

Bears reposting.

DeSantis had better not endorse Trump, because too many of us are voting for him in 24.

Furthermore, a person who is insinuating that you are homosexual, as Trump has done most recently?

These tactics are hitting below the belt.

Trump is behaving like some punch drunk thug.

Speculated? That horse has already left the barn. But I suppose the new line will be, “What choice did DeSantis have, but to run, after the way Trump treated him?”

Mister Trump (figuratively) potties on people, then wonders why they don't support him.

Take John McCain (not a McCain fan, btw). Said Trump re McCain 2015... “He was a war hero because he was captured...I like people who weren’t captured”, thus insulting POWs and MIAs and their families and friends. McCain's last vote in the senate was against the GOP repeal of obamacare provisions. McCain, apparently, got even.

Many more examples, but consider the name-calling and insults that Mister Trump directed at McConnell (again, I'm not a McConnell fan, not the point). IIRC, Trump insulted McConnell, calling him several names. And, did Mitch respond with cheerful support of the Trump-endorsed candidates? Not that I recall.

Fast forward to now. Out of the blue, Trump calls Ron DeSantis several childish names (Desanctimonious, among others). Does Trump expect RDS to respond kindly? No, DeSantis points out Trump's chaotic personality.

Insulting people who could be at least partial allies and putting them on the defensive is the precise opposite of wise leadership and good judgment.
