Trump is of the opinion that loyalty is a two-way street.
Bull! DeSantis needed Trump’s help in Florida to win his first election, but he didn’t need Trump for the second. DeSantis returned Trump’s favor when he endorsed Trump in 2020. The playing field was leveled at that point.
All Trump has done since DeSantis first looked like he might run is hurl kindergarten level insults and make himself look like a first rate, class- A, gold-plated horse’s ass.
I supported Trump in the 2016 primaries, the 2016 election and the 2020 election. He lost me in the aftermath to the 2020 election where he made a series of atrocious personnel picks and decisions (Guiliani sweating hair dye, the “Kraken,”etc.) and turned the whole thing into a freakin’ clown show.
With Trump, loyalty goes one way. If he does a favor, the recipient must kiss his ass forever and ever. Adults don’t act that way. And DeSantis is an adult. Trump, however, needs to grow up.
