Oh course they want him in cuffs. They are afraid of him. The fear is so overpowering that they will do anything, even illegal things. to keep him out of power.

you’re on the money. only Trump has the instinctual fight and backbone to name and root out the abundant corruption in the Establishment. even DeSantis who seemed to have good instincts waffled here, taking 3 days to react. this kind of blatant political persecution/weaponization of justice system warranted an immediate and strong statement, but i think he fell prey to his handlers. the attraction of Trump is that he reacts on a dime, to the chagrin of his handlers. in general but not always that led to amazing results. the major time it didn’t was when he deferred to what he thought was expertise of health bureaucrats, but he even psyched out their weasely ways by spring of 2020 when he tried to open up the country.
