The picture is of a Bulgarian AK semi. It has a forged receiver (look at the long groove below the charging handle). Unlike AKs from that era, the trigger pull was very good. It was accurate (2" at 100yds using soviet era ammunition). I sold it to finance my daughter's wedding.
Though the stock looked ugly and awkward, it was pretty good. The connecting piece between the grip and the stock made it easy to adjust the stock position with the heal of the hand.
I hope the marriage lasts. Good rifles, indeed. I’m sure that Joe thinks they were banned out of existence for 10 years.
