Apparently you didn’t understand the main point of the lawsuit. There are legal and political ramifications once a person actually declares they are running. Donation money is affected for one. Declaring puts a candidate at a financial disadvantage. Trump is right about what RDS is disadvantage. and good for him for filing suit.
It’s for a judge to decide. Desantis wrote and released a book. If clear and convincing evidence shows he broke some rules, pay a fine and move on. I mean, it’s not like he paid a stripper a bunch of money to keep quiet. That would be really egregious, wouldn’t it?
