Yesterday morning, I was in my vehicle in the drive-up lane at McDonald’s. When I got to the ordering speaker, the male voice told me they were accepting cash only because “our system is down.”

When your only option is digital, the system being down means you cannot buy ANYTHING. The system might only be “down” for YOU because somebody you cannot see or contact has cut off YOUR ability to buy.

This is, in fact, the “mark of the beast” warned about more than two thousand years ago by Jesus.

I agree. That's basically what Jim Rickards was warning about in his commercial. There will not be any way to "prosper" though. We'll all be lucky to hang on as long as we can.

It's not the Mark of the Beast from Revelation chapter 13. Not yet. But it could easily feel like it. And here I am, basically at retirement age. Hoping to get a new part-time job after I get a couple of cars fixed....Lord willing.
