Virologists seem to have a blind spot as to the risks of doing what other scientists might see as extremely dangerous. The following link leads to an article that is an excellent example. The virus samples they were after was one of the most lethal in history. There was likely no one who was immune and there was/is no treatment. They also carried their samples back on a commercial airliner.
