I saw the telecast and just watched this YouTube version. I believe he was referring to the “Log Cabin Republicans.” They use the names of Washington and Lincoln to get millions of dollars to slander him. Agree, he shouldn’t have used that word. I winced when he first said it. What will Ric Grenell say, I wonder.
When he says “perverts” we know who he is referring to.
CNN and MSNBC is filled with degenerate homosexuals, Don Lemon, Anderson Cooper, Rachel Maddow, the two twinks Hayes and Geist, and of course Banjo Boy and his adulterous wife. ALL OF THEM, low life degenerates, and that’s just from two cable stations, there are thousands more at the New York Times and Washington Post.
Sodom and Gomorrah were pikers compared to what the USA has in the media and Hollywood.
Trump said the perverts who stole the names Lincoln and Washington to buy ads and divide. This means the reprobates at the disgraced Lincoln Project, Amazon Washington Post and so forth.
He said the pervs who took Washington and Lincoln’s name. That’s the bozos at The Lincoln Project. Google the perverted crap
and scandals they are involved in. Mark Levin who was in the audience and got a nice shout out from Trump calls them the John Wilkes Booth Project. I am sure he got a chuckle out of it. Maybe we have some Lincoln Project members here who are offended by this. I don’t know.

I had a niece who was a “Lesbian.” As a teen, she was emotionally tormented, at a “Catholic School” no less, because of her weight; unfortunately she inherited her dad’s genes; at age 15, her dad Jim weighed about 250 lbs. It was not until many years later that Kate “came out.” I had discussions with my younger sister, her mom, about the lifestyle, with which I disagree. I told my sister that it’s not genetic; the lifestyle is learned and likely a product of (1) emotional trauma/sexual assault, or (2) mental illness… Kate was bi-polar, as most of the LGBT+… whatever, are. Unfortunately, Kate dropped dead in the middle of a grocery store shortly after having just left her mom’s house. Kate was 29 years of age. Can you imagine my sister’s pain? In the day, would I have called my niece a “pervert?” No. Would I have called Kate that in front of her mother? No. They are many people who know those who are “that way.” There are many families who deal with the pain of their children going “that way.” My sister cried for days when Kate “came out.” Do I read the Bible? Yes, and I’m currently in a Bible Study on Thursday evenings. And I (Chairman of Trustees) and a member of a Disaffiliation Committee recently finished work on leaving the North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church (NCCUMC) because of the conference leadership’s lack of enforcing discipline, corruption of Scripture, corruption of the Divinity of Christ and the sexual proclivities (Drag Queen Sundays?!) of many of the UMC pulpits across the nation. We lost nine members but we are no longer “United Methodists.” By the way, I’m hardly a “Snowflake.” I’m a retired United States Marine Major who served this Nation for twenty years and a Veteran of The Persian Gulf War. I was serving at MCRD Parris Island, SC (‘92 - ‘96) when Bill Clinton instituted “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” in January ‘93, days after his inauguration. I thought it was bad policy then; I think it is policy now, especially in light of the now-recruiting and assessing the transgenders. I was more reserved about throwing around a word like “pervert” in former years but when these filthy deviants are naked, simulating sex in high noon public parades and putting on drag Queen story hour for children its time to call a spade a spade. They didn’t “just want to be left alone” as they claimed, they want to turn our children and they come right out now and say so. As another freeper noted above there is a time for peace and a time for war…
What private hell people go through is their own business. However, the way the term traditionally has been understood, legally, refers to predatory type behavior, connotation is usually sexual but not always, which is what Trump had in mind.
