LOL !
Yep. I’m cool with that. I don’t like people trying to take food off my plate at a restaurant.
When I visit my BFF since high school, (we’re like sisters) we always treat ourselves to a nice restaurant and even dessert.
I don’t eat dessert often, so I tend to order something chocolatey and decadent.
She always ordered something else and invariably preferred what I ordered. She’d keep pestering me for tastes of mine, trying to get hold of at least half of it.
I finally put a stop to it and suggested that she just order the same thing I did, because I wasn’t going to give any of mine up.
What a boring choice. I usually like to order something I’m not likely to make at home.
C’mon, that’s the most normal thing I’ve seen Jill do.
It’s almost refreshing.
This ranks right up there with the most Puke Worthy Headlines in FR history.
““There are 2 types of couples in this world: those who order the same dish at a restaurant and those who would never ever dare…”
I never even thought of this being such a big deal to people who obviously have too soft and comfortable a life.
George Orwell warned that imagery must be fresh to have effect. At one time “outrage” evoked a vivid sight of rage exploding. I don’t think re-wording it to “rage bomb” will do, so perhaps we can resurrect “scurrilous!”
