Don’t be fooled by the faux-consternation about Chicago being a “failed city.” That city is deeply proud of its well-earned reputation of a violent, corrupt hellhole. Lightfoot wins easily.
That didn’t age well.
Not that I think Vallas can succeed in office, unless there is way more to him than meets the eye. Still, he might be able to slow the decline a bit. But, he’ll have his race working against him.
