They are not supporting Ron because they like his politics. They are supporing Ron because in their eyes he is the only viable Trump slayer.
They are supporting Ron because he doesn’t have any “politics.” He’s flat broke (relatively speaking), has never worked outside government, and will therefore do whatever he is told by the GOP establishment.
