When was the last time we won? I wonder when we did win if the Pentagon had a revolving door for employees from defense contractors.
Since this is about the Navy, how’s CVN-78 Gerald R. Ford doing these days? Is it still late? Did they ever get the catapults to work? The last I saw we spent in excess of $16 Billion on the Ford. Hmm, how many more aircraft carriers could we buy with the money we have wasted on Ukraine?
When’s the last time the US fought a modern enemy? Look at what the Russian military is doing while dealing with the best we have. Compared to China, Russia is qualitatively second rate. These won’t be Viet Cong guerrillas or ill trained, lightly armed Arab irregulars. Last “modern military” capable of replenishing itself we fought was the Axis Powers 1944. I will concede the Chicoms in Korea, as apparently you do, to be somewhere in between.
Our military budget is more than the next ten nations combined. Always poor mouthing. What are they doing with the money?

The head of our navy is just campaigning for a bigger budget. China has many many small ships, but their blue water navy can’t even match Japan’s, let alone the US.
China is killing 3 birds with ONE stone. By keeping the U-Crane war going, it is increasing US National debt, reducing our weapons stock piles, and weakening Russia & NATO countries, all at the same time.
No wonder Putin & Xi are meeting next month for a summit. China will supply lethal arms to Russia to keep the stupid war going. The higher US national debt gets, the weaker we become by paying out $1,000,000,000,000 in interest alone in fiscal 2024.

Take a look at the issues currently in the Fleet. Sailors aboard aircraft carriers getting sick because jet fuel ended up in the potable water supply. Suicide rates through the roof. Captains begging DC for things they should already have. DelToro is an Academy Grad and he’s not a wokester. Both he and the CMC of the Navy are trying to look out for their Sailors. My kid is one of them. If we can send billions to the Ukrainians, we can take care of the kids who defend us.
What really ticks me off is the chump change this idiot sold us out for, a few million and drugs and whores for Jr. It’s was the same with Slick Clinton when he gave MIRV technology to the Chicoms for a lousy $300G political donation.
