I like what DeSantis has done in Florida. It’s becoming a solid, reliable red state. And, it’s my favorite vacation spot. National politics has become such a mess, and the federal government is so toxic that I’d rather see DeSantis just stay away. But, it’s a hard thing for politicians to do- the lure of the most powerful job in the world is mighty tempting.
I just wish DeSantis would stop inviting everybody down here. The traffic is horrid. It’s getting very expensive. Real estate is way up and any bare land is being developed. Fields that had grazing cows are now Walgreens. And yes we are getting plenty of libs moving here. Our property insurance is becoming expensive to almost non existent. I went to a park today and probably half the people there are from foreign countries. It’s great here but there is a tipping point. We aren’t far from that I am afraid .
