I normally tune out all the PA crapola. The COVID hysteria really set me on edge. Endless loops of “we are all in this together...out of abundance of caution...stay 6 feet from others...follow the aisle arrows...cover your face...blah, blah, blah.” I just wanted to scream “STOP it, STOP it!!”
I’m surprised I even heard the black patent crap today. The narrator sounded like one of those breathless 20-somethings on any NPR show to make it even worse. As soon as I heard “black inventor and patent” my filters kicked on and I never heard another word.
I had a cart full of stuff. I hate shopping and put it off as long as I can, so I wasn’t about to abandon my cart.
So many aspects of modern life just really suck.
“Every blame can be lain at the feet of the normal people and their weakness.” — there’s a lot of truth in that. My “weakness” today was just wanting to get an unpleasant chore of restocking everything in the house and getting it overweigh regardless of the propaganda being poured all over me.
Blacks have two national holidays and an entire month to celebrate their history. According to Critical Race Theory, whites, who invented slavery and perpetrated Jim Crow, are their oppressors. So a superior race with two national holidays and a whole month dedicated to its history, is seen as being subjected to a race of evil subhumans.
Oh, joy! Now we can be evil racist rednecks! In for a penny, in for a pound. Where are my sheets?/s
They’re really stupid. What do adolescents do when adults push? Rebel and push back. They should have got them when they were younger. Too late. Pass the popcorn.
I understand about the shopping. It is a sucky chore. However, Target has been known as a notoriously libtard company for some time now. I NEVER shop at Target since they started with their bathroom policy. It’s been at least 5 years since I even went to their website.
I would find another store to patronize. Or if you are like me, stop patronizing brick and mortar stores altogether. In the future, I will be ordering everything online (not from Amazon), and having my groceries delivered (which are very basic due to me making most of my food homemade). I buy my flour and cornmeal from a small local mill. I know someone who keeps bees and I substitute honey a lot for processed sugar. A neighbor has chickens and I buy eggs from her. We have a local butcher that does all meats and fish. I still need to find a local cheese maker. Butter can be made easily homemade. When I see wokeness being promoted anywhere, I will cancel them.
I am creeping closer to being a prepper, lol. None of it is enough. Civil disobedience to begin with, but in the end I think it will take a shooting war. If it is even possible.
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

Wow, you are resourceful and busy! I’m tired just reading all you are doing. I’ve got other hobbies keeping me busy in retirement. We buy most of our stuff on Amazon, but today was assorted food, a new iron, ironing board, a picture frame, a couple of work tee shirts, paper towels, toothpaste, bar soap, stainless steel wipes, etc. sometimes it’s just easier to go to the store. I’m forced to do it about every three or four weeks, so I can live with it. I just need to keep my ears closed.
I was ticked at Target when they kicked the Salvation Army out at Christmas way before the bathroom garbage.
Just reading about this gives me the creeps.
This is nothing more than Nazi “race theory” repackaged under another name.
Black People Month,
seems racisss

I’m not doing most of it, lol. People I know are. I honestly believe most people just tune it out. The problem is, of course, is that they soon won’t let anyone tune it out. Indoctrination camps for all will be the end result. It only gets worse.
I didn’t hear about the Salvation Army thing at the time. Shame.
Combine that with the fact that the Salvation Army has gone woke itself, which is really a shame.
Has been said many many times....remove your children from Public Schooling.
When this happeneds pull your children out, stop talking about it and do something significant. They will return when this is gone! period
There are a number of powerful women with white husbands. Kamala Harris. Ketanji Brown Jackson…
Where Anita Dunn now?
“I was ticked at Target when they kicked the Salvation Army out at Christmas way before the bathroom garbage.”
That’s when we stopped with Target.
Then SA went woke, so there’s that. You really can’t win.
In my situation, I live in the country and we don’t have any farmers markets (all the farmers sell to big corps. especially corn) and I know of one person who raises chickens and they don’t sell the eggs. It is crazy. The closest stores are big box stores like Walmart. We never tried to buy groceries online. Isn’t that expensive?
Yup—it looks like they are teaching Mexicans to hate Whitey.
Remember: La Raza does not mean “The Race” according to the “experts” and “fact checkers”.
