Both sides in the Revolutionary war had slavery as part of their economies as was the norm for about every nation and people throughout history.
Both sides some decades later abolished slavery which was far from the norm.
Moreover it is dubious to claim that slavery was such a big part of the economy on either side that it was what was "used to fund the revolution".
I do not follow history much, but this level of incompetence in the subject is disturbing...have to think its borne of just irrational radicalization. In any case, the person seems too silly to be a teacher.
