I think this is a great idea as long as the equity goes all ways and not just a selected group or groups. It’s the same theory as discrimination. There is no such thing as reverse discrimination. There is only discrimination coming from the opposite direction. The committee should be open to that if it is a true equity function. Can’t go part way and be an honest and forthright committee without a complete evaluation of all races since that is what they are claiming it is for.
