Again, I don’t have the facts, however driving a vehicle at someone is as dangerous as being armed. If that is true. Just ask the Islamic terrorists.
I don’t think he ‘drove at them.’ They were on a dark country road & it was an ambush. They didn’t just put up a roadblock where it could be clearly seen. Everything done was essentially deliberately done to allow violence on the part of the LEO’s. He was alone outside of the car, putting his hands up, & he was shot in the back.
