money well spent

it's managing to weaken one of America's worst enemies, while costing only a fraction of a war to do the same thing ... and zero American troops are being killed or wounded

the facts

The “money well spent” that you are boasting about has caused the loss of approximately 300,000 people on both sides, military and civilian.

https://nypost.com/2023/02/14/ukraine-losing-large-number-of-troops-as-it-boasts-of-russian-casualties/

The vast majority of those people on both sides were good, honorable, and were loved by those knew them and depended on them. They were simply caught up in a mess that was created as much by those who are supposed to be on our side as megalomaniac Russian leadership who acted in a predictable way when provoked.

Ruthless idiots who cheer on this crap are heartless, disgusting excuses for human beings as far as I am concerned. And this especially includes the fat, cowardly armchair warriors who claim that the unimaginably large sums of money being spent by the US to continue this slaughter is somehow worth it. Ukraine has one of the most corrupt regimes in the world and they continue to pull the tail of megalomaniac Russian leadership with predictable results.

NO GOOD can come from foreign policy led by the brain dead Biden administration. Every dollar, every dime, and every penny is being wasted.

right, and how did it start?

Russian illegally invaded Ukraine 1 year ago on a campaign of conquest, that's how

After years of provocation and Biden saying that nothing would be done if the reaction to the West’s corrupt puppet regime was a “minor incursion”. If President Trump was not the victim of a stolen election most likely none of this would have happened. It is a botched-up mess.

By your standards what gave the US the right to invade Iraq the second time around and Afghanistan based on iffy intelligence? They are both halfway around the world and unlike Ukraine and Russia do not share a border with the United States.

You are so full of Canadian goose poop that you are not even making sense any longer. Go beat a baby seal to death or whatever you Canadians are doing for entertainment these days. Stop telling those of us who are United States citizens to support using our tax dollars to continue to slaughter Ukrainians and Russians.

At this point it makes no difference how you believe this started... The issues that led to this awful mess started many years ago. What matters is that there is zero benefit to the taxpayers of the United States for continuing to throw billions of dollars down this rat hole. All the Biden administration is doing is making a bad situation worse.

When you are on the same side of any issue as AOC, the squad, Biden, Pelosi, Schumer and every other Democrat along with Lindsay Graham, and every other deep state politician... common sense ought to make you wonder why! Unfortunately, you believe the continued slaughter of hundreds of thousands is all some sort of entertainment that is somehow helping the United States. You believe this because you are a gullible fool.

well of course it matters how it started, that's the first question in any court of law

and you just can't admit that Putin started this war with his illegal invasion 1 year ago

you're just like Big Media covering for Trayvon's unprovoked assault on Zimmerman by saying "a struggle ensued"

similarly, you cover for Russia's unprovoked assault on Ukraine

You are living in a fantasy land. Your “belief” about how this started does not jive with reality. This situation had been a festering sore for many years and unless you are even more ignorant than I believe that you are... you are well aware of this...

This is situation is not any of the United States' business to begin with and every taxpayer penny that the weak and incoherent Biden administration spends on it, is making it worse. Biden, the Democrats along with deep state Neocons are using this situation for their own gain not the well-being of the Ukrainian people.

I admit that I have some advantages over you. I have been a United States citizen since the day I was born. I come from a military family with a deep interest in foreign affairs. I also have known and know many Russian and Ukrainian expats who have adopted the United States as their new home. I appreciate and admire these friends and to hear you callously disregarding the pain that you advocate by cheering on the continued funding of the extermination and misery of their brothers and sisters still living in the region makes me ill.

My wife's grandfather came to this country from Germany, joined the arm,y and was sent to the Philippines to fight in the Spanish American War. There was no one more patriotic than he. After the war he became a schoolteacher and settled with his family in a small town in Oregon. He would not allow German to be spoken in his house.

In the lead up to WWI the Wilson administration and the media at the time whipped the citizens into a frenzy of anti-German sentiment. Her grandfather was fired from his job. The children were pelted with rocks. Their house was burned down and the entire family nearly died over the next two years from exposure and starvation. It is by the grace of God that my wife's mother who was a baby when this awful situation started, somehow survived.

You are like the callous and idiotic people who nearly killed my wife's grandparents, their children, including her mother. You are a victim of nonsensical propaganda that you recite over and over and over again here. No, the $100s of Billions of funds headed to Ukraine and the Russians through taxes and money spent on increasingly expensive energy costs and resulting inflation from defecit spending is not "well spent". It is complete folly!

Is it your fault that you are a gullible fool? Yes! Yes it is! NO good will ever come from any foreign policy decisions made by the administration of the fool currently posing as the President of the United States. If you can't figure that one out... then I am afraid that there really is not much hope that you will ever adopt a coherent world view. You will keep fluttering from one nonsensical propaganda fueled point of view to the next.

A gullible person believes anything,
but a sensible person watches his step.
A wise person is cautious and turns away from evil,
but a fool is careless and overconfident.
A short-tempered person acts stupidly,
and a person who plots evil is hated.

So the US projecting foreign power was ok then, even something to boast about, but not now.

LOFL!

I certainly made no “boast” in my post about how the United States got into the Spanish American war. The example was given to demonstrate how idiots are influenced to hate and violence by propaganda that has little to no basis in reality. You “laughing out freakin’ loud” over something that you have manufactured in your own head does not reflect well on your own intelligence. Go back to counting your toes... it probably has more real world value.
