She wrote Uncle Tom’s Cabin as a Christian allegory. He was written to be a Christ-like figure.
Then, there was the character George.
I read “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” (FR Book Club) after I read “Atlas Shrugged,” and the similarities between George and John Galt were interesting.
Oops. I meant “Atlas Shrugged” was FR’s Book Club.
