A New York middle school is apologizing after serving students with a meal on the first day of Black History Month that was deemed to be culturally insensitive. Administrators at Nyack Middle School say that the hot lunch menu was changed by the vendor without their knowledge on February 1st, the first day of Black History Month, to include chicken and waffles with a watermelon dessert which the school’s principal called an "unfortunate situation", The Journal News reported.

I have given up on caring about what that particular segment of the population thinks, says or wants. They account for only 13% of the US population but are responsible for over 50% of all violent crime, and yet they are the first ones to scream “racism” and complain about “injustice”.

When in the red shades of hades has chicken or waffles been declared as a food for one group? I love both, but want to be racially sensitive here. Do we have to pay a surcharge to eat these foods now? Both are still readily available in non-ethnic areas of the market which will confuse woke buyers.
Don't serve traditional soul food -- you're erasing black culture.

Seriously, these idiotic clowns don't know what real racism is. If you want to experience real racism, go to Kosovo and say, dobro jutro ("good morning" in Serbian) to a stranger on the street. If the stranger turns out to be Albanian, those could be your last words.
