Check out prison nowadays. Child abusers have a life expectancy of weeks. In those weeks, they will spend a lot of time in clinic.
So long as they never get to the end of their sentence and never get out (alive) I’m OK with a light sentence. The prosecutor should tease this idea/fact so that the defense attorney will (stupidly) pounce on it and tell the jury not to convict as that will be a death sentence.
Watch the eyes of the jurors.

Good for him. Such crimes against the most innocent SHOULD be punished by the death penalty. It would be a strong deterrent against others following and acting on their sick thoughts.
I have children and grandchildren. I have no sympathy for these degenerates, nor the ones who support them, as they insist we should accept them in society and even positions of teaching and authority over children, while exclaiming that we must be “inclusive”.
I’m all for the “millstone, neck, and ocean” treatment as set out in God’s word, as an absolute minimum when it comes to punishment.
Not a word from ABC, CNN, NYSLimes, etc.
