I could easily see how someone in Virginia could be turned off by DeSantis, and prefer Trump. I dunno. Virginia's Chinese governor "Young Kin" continues to enjoy very high approval ratings from Virginia Republicans, and most importantly, Virginia independents and swing voters.

DeSantis will be bent-over by the deep state. This is no time for a learning curve.

...DeSantis' appearances will give the governor a chance to meet with GOP power donors in Houston and Dallas. You can bank on it.

Someone who hasn’t figured out the midterms shouldn’t be calling anyone a retard.

New Yorkers and other Northeasterners have been moving to Florida since the late 19th Century. The Jewish influx has been a generally negative factor, as seen in Broward County. However, the bulk of the non-Jewish Yankee migrants are conservative. Case in point: The Villages. In fact, retired Northeasterners moving to Florida have likely helped move New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York leftward.

DeSantis will be bent-over by the deep state. This is no time for a learning curve. And Trump filled his entire administration with Bush’s third string team of swamp creatures. By the time he left office, he had handed over the country to Dr. Fauci, was fighting with Democrats over who could mail the biggest Covid relief checks, and was trying to bribe black voters with a $500 billion reparations package.

Meanwhile, Trump is still sabotaging the GOP:
“In a radio interview on Thursday, the conservative commentator Hugh Hewitt asked [former President Donald] Trump if he would support ‘whoever’ wins the party’s nomination next year. Mr. Trump announced his third presidential campaign in November and faces a number of potential Republican challengers. ‘It would depend,’ Mr. Trump said, adding, ‘It would have to depend on who the nominee was.’ The hesitation from Mr. Trump differed from many of the Republican Party’s top officials and most prominent activists.”

All of the retards pushing him on FR have ruined it, at least for me.You certainly have a way with words, FRiend. Put a lid on it. You aren't helping your man Trump with childish insults.
Critical thinking is just not in your wheelhouse.

If you RonBots think you are going to turn Free Republic into a Desantis ‘24 Campaign Web Site you got another thing coming.

If you RonBots think you are going to turn Free Republic into a Desantis ‘24 Campaign Web Site you got another thing coming.Actually, I'd like a respite from 2024 elections for at least six months. I'll vote for whoever the nominee is, even if it is Trump.

He is getting over exposed and this will not help in in ‘28 when he actually decides to run ( or not ).They said the same thing about this guy's second term...
" THE PRESIDENT--any president--tends to pall on us after a bit through sheer overexposure. He becomes so hackneyed, as he pops up on the news night after night as a talking head, so profiled and scrutinized and analyzed by the columnists and the commentators, that long before he has reached the stage Ronald Reagan is at, with almost three years gone by in the White House, there is precious little more that any of us think we need to know about the man." https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/entertainment/books/1983/11/13/tune-into-the-real-ronald-reagan/54b2f2d3-1d05-4ef0-992a-068a4e083cff/

"DeSantis ...He said his hero was George W. Bush ...He said his icon who he wanted to emulate was Paul Ryan ...Nuff said."
Trump was a very good President up to the covid challenge when he really messed up. He's still patting himself on the back about his "warp-speed" so-called vaccine that I'm pretty sure killed my brother.
