100,000 dead in the Ukraine war + 455,000 that have fled the country = 555,000 total decrease
Russia’s Covid death count in 2022 was about 100,000.
They also added millions via annexation. Clearly not counted, even though annexation was in 2022.
Roughly 150,000 troops are outside the country so they may not be defined as “Permanently Residing” within.
There don’t have to be war casualties to get most of this 555K number defined.
