FWIW - I am not pumping him for President. I did think the interview was a good one and he made some good points. It was interesting.
I especially agree with him about China and he has bigger stones than almost any republicrat when it comes to calling them out.
What measure of out of control ambition does it take, in these Wannabees, to run against their own great POTUS, who was and is so representative of the very best of American nationalism & values, and tradition, that he was made to suffer, because he Fights. Clinically proportioned ambition.
I always admired Pompeo’s resume, and never once trusted an overly ambitious Pious Pence, nor Haley. (I believe these RINOS were forced on Trump, by McConnell.)
President Trump was their haymaker. He put an international stage platform under them. They could be decent candidates, but not now, Not against the political Father of the family.
None much defended President Trump, or came out against his abusers, not above what was only minimally necessary and perfunctory.
So, Trump is so weak Pompeo won him over.
Maybe there was just nothing there.

I posted it and thought it was worth a listen - certainly a lot of red meat for FReepers. I thought it was a very interesting interview and he was complimentary of Trump despite the division that the MSM and right-wing clickbait media tries to stir up.
I give him very high marks for his comments on China - best take on Covid of anyone I have heard. He is the only person of his stature who correctly labels the behavior of the CCP as “murder”.
He is quite direct and provides an insiders glimpse on a host of subjects that were interesting.
Currently watching the special he has on Fox this evening about his new book. 10 minutes in and he has not mentioned President Trump by name. He says he had to tell the president this or that but he never says Trump find that kind of a dishonest if you wanna know the truth.
Mike Pence phoned Pompeo to ask if he wanted to be part of admin. Mike Pompeo has always wanted to make America great. No mention of Trump name 25 minutes into the Fox program, except some people left because the President was not liked. Pompeo wouldn’t quit unless he died.
