Well, I sure don’t want that contaminated blood.
They just announced a couple of weeks ago that AIDS carriers with “undetectable” levels of virus can give blood. Now they say people who might have undetectable levels AT THAT TIME, but still have had risky behaviors in the recent past, can give blood.
I see private blood banks as a good investment possibility.
Store your own blood just in case!!

FYI: HIV infection causes its infected to age 14 years, resulting in many illnesses like cancers. This aging happens even when treated with antiretrovirals.
I first read about HIV’s premature aging in 2014, but it is hard to web search. HIV’s premature aging should have a medical name, so we can look it up.

Apparently HIV can’t be cured but it can be hidden so no one cal tell.
Thankfully, blood centers may continue to be MORE strict (for now) on their criteria for donor qualification than the FDA criteria. I was pleased to learn that my local, long-time blood center still will not allow donations by MSM, at all. Of course, I can see this changing by mandate under our fascistic overlords.

HIV infection causes premature aging of 14 years, even when HIV is treated with antiretrovirals. I just read article that said HIV virus hides, or something along those lines. Unfortunately, I can’t find article again, but doesn’t sound safe to be given HIV infected blood. Articles about HIV accelerated aging are hard to find online. Maybe they’re hiding this info. Who in government to I contact to tell them about HIV accelerated aging?
