Russia expressed mounting fury at the prospect of modern Western tanks being sent to Ukraine.

The Kremlin's spokesman described it as an "absurd" plan that scuppers the prospect of talks to end the war.

The Russian Embassy in Berlin called the German government's decision "extremely dangerous" and said it "takes the conflict to a new level of confrontation."

Question to all those who think the Ukraine War is going good for Ukraine.
Why does the USA and Germany need to ship hundreds of tanks to help if Ukraine is winning?

Also how will Russia respond to this escalation?

I asked a similar question last week. Certain people reacted very angrily.

Let me see, a bully picks on a kid and the smaller kid fights back somewhat effectively and the other small kids start helping the kid fight off the bully. And the bully then feels like he is being picked on?
Most people learned this stuff in grade school.
What is scary is we let these people that never learned those basic lessons in our governments.

No. The point is we should not be involved in this. We have been going overseas to fight monsters for over a hundred years now and aside from the Axis, none of those enemies were an existential threat to us. It’s way past time for us to get our own house in order.

As sure as Monday follows Sunday it is. The Neo Cons and Biden Worshipers, joined at the hip now that they married, will not have it any other way. The only question remaining to be answered now is how long will it take them to promote the nuclear war they are after.

Point is, there will be a need for more troops as the war widens. Where will they come from? Will we come together and unite behind a Biden or Kamala CIC. Please!!! We will lose.

As the war widens? Ukraine and Russia are fighting.

Our military alliance is growing from 30 nations to 32 nations soon, that is quite a collection of powerful nations, populations, weapons, Navies, and Air Forces.

You and I are not aware of war at our door fronts.
I do not ever intend to be fighting a war in my front yard.
I and many others served to make sure that was the case.
Democrats, cops and illegals are one very dangerous case foreign armed forces are an other.

No deal was made about NATO expansion. That is false!

It doesn’t matter what you believe, nor what I believe to be promised, implied, hinted at, etc. It is the World of political speak.

What matters is what Putin believes was promised (however it was worded) and has acted on it.

oh bye the way the USA is NATO. We created it, we funded it, we have troops over there. So when Secretary of State James Baker negotiated the United States’ agreement with the Soviet Union on the reunification of East with West Germany in 1990, what cards were played? What was offered Russia, what was verbally promised? In 1990’s the USA had the upper hand, now Russia may have the weak hand but we have called their Bluff.

We just doubled down by sending Tanks! Oh notice how Germany and Poland are moving in lock step with the USA.... wonder how the USA got two independent countries to follow the plan.......

I asked a similar question last week. Certain people reacted very angrily.

After everything that has come out about the ends some in government will go to achieve their ends, some people still want to believe the propaganda published daily by our equivalents of Pravda.

Some forget that “In war, truth is the first casualty.”

of course it matters

there is no written agreement. Baker was never the NATO spokesman. Baker promised that Germany would not expand to the east. That’s well-known fact

and putin is a known liar! that matters as well

If the nukes fly, darn right I want to be at ground zero. I don't want to die a slow agonizing death.

Nothing in writing and not authorized....... 🧐

Biden’s own words “so I got Ukraine. And I remember going over, convincing our team, our leaders to—convincing that we should be providing for loan guarantees. And I went over, I guess, the 12th, 13th time to Kiev. And I was supposed to announce that there was another billion-dollar loan guarantee. And I had gotten a commitment from Poroshenko and from Yatsenyuk that they would take action against the state prosecutor. And they didn’t.”

“So they said they had—they were walking out to a press conference. I said, nah, I’m not going to—or, we’re not going to give you the billion dollars. They said, you have no authority. You’re not the president. The president said—I said, call him. “

(Laughter.)

“I said, I’m telling you, you’re not getting the billion dollars. I said, you’re not getting the billion. I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money. Well, son of a bitch. (Laughter.) He got fired.”

Nothing in writing and not authorized... Welcome to how the World works!
