A cashless society only purpose is to collect more taxes by the government.
LOL, don't you know these 87,000 new agents will be hired not for their education or qualifications, but for diversity. They will be trained by IRS supervisors who would likely never be hired by a private accounting firm.
They will start out as GS-7s, equivalent to a 2nd Lieutenant. For those that don't quit, it will take them a minimum of two years to be promoted to GS-9...the IRS is notorious for a lack of promotions.
Remember, they aren't being hired on the basis of education or qualifications. They will be ill equipped to handle even the most basic IRS regulations. I predict a major cluster foxtrot at the IRS.
