Absolutely true! The democrats are like teenagers. They get to give pretty things. The republicans are the parents saying no all the time. I think it worked until the 90’s. Now the teenagers are winning big!
Another segment of “When Stupid People Have Power…”
Well, at least we don’t have to worry about any unintended consequences coming from such brilliant regulations.
Might I suggest they read
Basic Economics

What…no price controls on higher education? How convenient.
That’s good : )
It is not for you to welcome us!
Comrade Caprugina is the Chaiman of the resident’s committee!
I hear there is ( vaccines causing heart damage) typhoid in the city
Youve been listening to rumors comrade! ( you are spreading disinformation comrade)
There was room for nine families here!
Oh yes, comrade, it is more just this way
( but why does it sound so funny..)
Is that true? If so… absolutely awesome!
And make sure they read, “The Road to Serfdom”!
Real estate prices went crazy after the Biden gang engineered the current inflation curse.
Who would benefit most? The retired people who thought a small apartment complex or a couple of duplexes was the way to a comfortable life after 40 years of toil? Or, wealthy real estate tycoons who can absorb the costs until they can buy up all the retired people who will go bankrupt because of rent controls?
no constitutional authority over housing for the feds.
bit by bit private property is going the way of the DoDo bird, same with medical care, same with the Bill of Rights, soon nothing will remain but raw fascism ...
I wish so-called “conservatives” would stop using the word “progressive.”
Call the demon rats what they are.....communists!
Eto apartment shortages, da!
👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
One has to actually HAVE the ‘power’ before they can GIVE it away.
Congress and the courts will block this nonsense. It never worked anywhere it was tried, and caused housing shortages. Idiocy marches on, but they don’t have the power anymore, and Trump’s justices and judges can put a stop to all this pernicious nonsense, even if it does get through Congress, which it won’t. Yay, federalism!
But at the time the Founders didn’t think that the senate would be controlled by political parties rather than the states like today. Repealing the 17th would be a start...You're right. It would be much better to go back to having state (majority party) legislators appoint their good ol boys big money donors, rather than allowing the people to vote for their Senator < /sarcasm >.
Just like with prohibition amendment the 17th needs be repealed.
