Walton County is southeast of Atlanta and is small, very rural and conservative county (although growing as more people move to Georgia). Side note: It is also where the new Rivian plant is being built, against the wishes of the majority of the locals.

These two evil abusers will not get off lightly with probation and a fine in Walton County. They should have picked one of the liberal Atlanta counties to live in if they wanted the authorities to just shrug and look the other way. Apparently, they are not adjusting well to jail life and are surprised they can’t get a low bond and just an ankle bracelet.
