The voter turnout last year was about 46 percent, down 20 percent from 2020.
The country is being driven off a cliff, and American voters can’t be bothered to go vote.
There is certainly disloyalty out there, to the country, at least.
I am cynical now. People want to point to politicians when it is the stupidity of voters that is doing us in.
I can’t forget the voters in Pennsylvania voting in an idiot and the people in Georgia voting in a idiot communist. Way to go Georgia!!!
Just out of curiosity... how does voter turnout in midterm elections usually compare with voter turnout when there’s a presidential election?
In other words... how did 2018 compare to 2016?
How did 2014 compare to 2012?
How did 2010 compare to 2008?
etc....
I’m thinking that midterm elections do not typically draw the same turnout as when there is a presidential contest on the ballot.
