If you aren’t a politician, you cannot take a phone or any recording device into a SCIF. If you are a REPUBLICAN politician, you cannot.

Worse: It has been reported with reasonable reliability that Hillary had a small SCIF in her home on Whitehaven. She left the door ajar so that her immigrant housekeeper could go in, use Hillary’s password on the classified computer and access her classified email account, and print out the emails because her highness didn’t want to read stuff on a screen. Whoever was responsible for monitoring the SCIF status, whether local or remote, must of course have been complicit.
