Here in GA, you can hunt coyotes 24 X 7 X 365, and CAN use IR lights and NODs. You can even bait the field. Rifle v bow varies by county/city.
Same for feral hogs.
Yeah, plinking coyotes is frowned upon in suburban Atlanta.
And there aren’t that many out there - but they are there, based on the frequency of “OMG, my cat disappeared! Help find my cat!” posters.
I actually saw one up close 3 doors down in the middle of the day about 8-9 years ago. And I’ve seen them crossing the road in the distance a few times since.
