I don’t think they are sassing CA.

CA has enacted strict emissions standards against small gasoline engines, down to leaf blowers and small generators, and more.

How is this not a clear violation of the 2005 Protection of Legal Commerce of Firearms Act?

Just because.

So go ahead and sue. They have more lawyers than you.

Besides, you have "no standing" according to the courts in California, unless you have already been sanctioned by enforcement of this new "law". Most judges are fully supportive of directives that will eliminate firearms in the hands of ordinary peasants - err, "citizens".

Democrats will do anything they want, and demand others follow whatever orders they give them. The pretense of law is wearing thin these days.

The correct solution is to turn back every one of these "suits" with "no standing" and compel the litigant to pay all of the legal costs borne by the "defendant".

And any of the manufacturers that get sued by an individual and win, should immediately countersue for frivolous litigation. Even if they lose, make anyone who wants to do this pay a price. Lawfare, the process IS the punishment!

“The Court declares California Civil Code § 1021.11 to be unconstitutional and permanently enjoins the Defendants from bringing any action or motion under § 1021.11 to obtain an award of attorney’s fees and costs. “

Gunmakers might consider refusing to sell to any CA entity, especially CA government entities.

I'm sure the politicians in CA would freak out if their security cretins were reduced to using tasers.

I don't see why any company offers any firearm or ammunition for sale in CA.

When the cops have been completely disarmed, they might be somewhat less enthusiastic about enforcing every statist dictate to come along than they have been in the past.

I was just about to say that there will be a greater shortage of U Hauls in CA
