Its the end game of printed, fiat, Federal Reserve money, and the massive government debt and woke social-engineering it supports.

Chain employers don’t give a s___ about their employees and the employees don’t give a s___ about their employers.

There are a few, but in a LOT of cases he is right on point. We see help wanted signs everywhere. None of them are less than $15/hr with benefits.

Alas, Bernie is right. Another example is Twitter’s San Fran office, which has begun to stink — literally — because Musk fired the striking janitors and the genius snowflakes have no idea how to clean up after themselves.

He’s just mad because government handouts aren’t being spent at his store as much as, say, Walmart.

“‘Too lazy, too fat, too stupid’: Home Depot founder slams workers in modern economy”

Certainly true for Americans, but I’ll put up the quality of my mostly-Mexican(or similar) built house against anything I’ve seen from the UAW, for example.

On the flip side of that. Companies no longer care about employees. They will move work off-shore if at all possible.

I’m starting to like Home Despot more.

This, and years ago railing against universal commieCare.

He’s right.
Whenever I go to Home depot, I leave reminiscing about old hardware stores where the workers could answer questions and find the right items. They were helpful. Now, they’re only good for stocking shelves. Ask them a question and they read a label which I am quite capable of doing myself.
Sigh.... I miss the old days.

"Nobody works. Nobody gives a damn."

I think he's covering way to much territory. Some still care, and do fine work.. The others are too busy with the bong....

In the sweet old country
Where I come from

Nobody ever works
And nothing gets done
We hang fire

While I agree that america has an obesity problem and open borders aren’t helping in the smarts department I think if the owner of Home Depot wants better workers he should pay more.

I relocated last year. The first time I visited my local Mennonite-owned hardware store was the last time I set foot in a Home Depot or Lowe’s.

Conversely - and anecdotally - I’ve experienced, during and since covid, the best and most consistently good restaurant service nearly everywhere. I can’t explain it.

I think the big problem is lack of ownership and family formation. I own a house, have wife/kids, therefore I work and save. I’d be no different if I was deep in debt with a pointless degree, and no relationships beyond hook up culture. Wouldn’t think past the next chance to get wasted and hook up. This lifestyle has been promoted since the mid 60’s and people are somehow surprised at the results.

Perhaps more emphasis on Critical Race Theory, Intersectionality, LGBTQI, and Wokeness will help our next generation?

I agree with him fully.

I have had a number of different jobs in my lifetime-—but I always worked.

I assembled air diffusion units in a factory...

I worked in a tire store—dismounting/remounting & balancing tires...

I sold auto parts & body shop supplies and delivered parts in & back from the machine shop on my commute...454 heads are HEAVY !!!!!

I worked in a machine shop grinding & polishing cylinder heads for better performance—night job after selling auto parts...

I worked as a grocery cashier...took every shift I could on a holiday, etc...triple time pay...

I worked in a night club-—night job after all day in an office...NOT a nice part of Milwaukee at night..

I worked a number of office jobs-—mostly doing accounting

I started at age 17 & am now 83.

Last accounting client retired this spring-—I did his books for 53 years....

I see an entire 40 year group of “UNEMPLOYABLES” and it isn’t going to help our future.

I see self-indulgent pampered brats who think the world owes them something.

I would not hire a single one of them....

Not even to water my horses or clean water tanks....

Yes, this is why I am sure the GOP will one day be the dominant worker's party. Their slogans are

"Jobs American won't do" and " Americans are to fat and lazy to work"

Yes!! that certainly is the winning platform!!! Yes, we can!!!

Homo Depot is a ChiCom store front. They bribed officials to stay open during COVID.
