The suspected murderer of several Idaho college students is drawing comparisons to serial killer Ted Bundy after mugshots began making their way across the internet Friday.

Richard Speck jumped into mind the first I heard of this
Not a Bundy, but a Daniel Harold Rolling. Either way, should be Bundy burgers, from old sparky.
“should be Bundy burgers, from old sparky.”
I was in FL the day Bundy was executed. The morning talk guys on one radio station had people call in with Bundy recipes. one was Cajun Bundy Gumbo. Don’t know why I recall that one; I don’t remember any of the others.
He reminded me a bit (in facial appearance) of “Jamie” from Yellowstone
No resemblance to Bundy. I wonder who broke his nose, though.
Just a thought: if mass murderers were videoed painfully being taken apart in little pieces with audio, maybe there might be few of them.
I do hope they got the right guy - not certain but I’m betting someone in his family did a 23 & me purchase.
I’m no criminal (well there may have been a couple of things slightly crossing the line ;-) but its interesting that just a relative wondering if they have Irish ancestry probably put him at the top of the suspect list.
Otherwise the cops had no clue except a white car.
If they ever put together a national DNA database they’ll be able to put you at any crime scene wherever.
Call me paranoid but I don’t even leave cigarette butts on the street. I know they’re after me. ‘-)
Maybe, but there’s always the possibility he might be psychotic.
Well I am screwed if I want to take up a criminal career. My dad sent in his 23 and me.
Since there’s no first post to reply to, I suppose you get the honor here.
I noticed he was a criminal justice major. One of the local mass murderers was in the criminal justice club in high school.
Coincidence, or is there a link between wanting to be in law enforcement and wanting to be a mass murderer?
Another tidbit: Turns out he’s vegan. He made his aunt and uncle buy new cookware because he refused to eat anything cooked in a pan that had once held meat.
He once scored four touchdowns in a single game at Polk High...
Wheter you were ever there or not. Planting DNA evidence is easier that planting a gun at a crime site.
Which reminds me of a case where a cop said the deceased lunged at him with a knife. Not one, not two, but 3 knives were recovered at the scene (although to be fair, one was stuck in a telephone pole a half block down the street.)
“No resemblance to Bundy. I wonder who broke his nose, though.”
I have no doubts that he stuck it somewhere that it didn’t belong.
A possible theory might be that it was one of the girls male friends friends.
That would not surprise me one bit.

I think I saw a show or movie on tv (but it could have been in a book) where the perps used a “dna bomb” something like a glitter bomb that had millions of dna fragments and it saturated the scene as soon as the bad guys or possibly good guys? left.
P.S. They already have a national DNA database or close enough that it might as well be one.
He doesn’t look like Speck, he doesn’t look like Bundy, he doesn’t look like Danny Rolling or Warren Jeffs.
Why must we make him look like anyone other than the killer he is?
I hate it when people say someone looks like someone and the person really does not look like some other person.
He does share the killer trait though.
A Miami rape defendant told a jury that somebody planted his DNA!
