Even as President Joe Biden and ex-President Donald Trump move toward a rerun of the most turbulent White House race in modern history, many voters are pining for a break from the past – and the present.
A new CNN/SSRS poll shows that 6 in 10 Republicans and GOP-leaning independents want their party to nominate someone other than Trump in 2024. A similar slice on the other side hopes for a nominee other than Biden.
Those findings suggest that voters are ready for the days of presidential campaigns when one generation passed the torch to the next. A Biden versus Trump race would raise questions over whether a bitterly polarized political system, where democracy itself is at stake, has lost the capacity for self-renewal that has always been an American strength. And it would suggest that the heady appeal of an outsider, which produced presidents in 1992, 2008 and 2016, has for now been kept at bay.

Given the probably bad recession we are about to go into, its very likely Trump will win in 2024.....beyond the margin of fraud I mean.
I don't trust CNN and I don't trust the people who do their polls.
I think Trump would be far better in a 2nd term than he was in his first term.
Let’s face it. He arrived in DC not really knowing how corrupt that Swamp really is.....not knowing what backstabbing scum the RINOs are.....not knowing what traitors to the constitution authoritarian leftist bureaucrats and senior ranks of the military in DC are.
Now he knows. Furthermore, he would want revenge - and he would have the power to extract a pound of flesh from a lot of them.
He could abolish the FIB, absolutely clean house in the Military, reassign a lot of deep staters to the brand new government office he’d have built in the middle of nowhere on the north slope of Alaska, etc.
That’s in addition to issuing about 500 executive orders on day 1 chokeslamming every single last thing Biden has done into 180 degree reverse effective immediately.
