Elliot? Why not E'Shawn or Eustaniasha? Sounds like the weather service needs an updated book of names. I'm waiting for Obamaneisha to make the list of bad weather events.
Seems to me the use of cultural names was suggested years ago. From what I recall, that was shot down because IF the storm was bad enough, just the name would be detrimental to “cultural” folks who didn’t want the blame.
