I am amazed anyone still watches The Weather Channel.
It was cool in 1997. Today? Not so much. If you can’t get better information, quicker, from the weather apps in your news folder on your smartphone, you suck at the smartphone & Internet.

Yes the Weather Channel is complete dross. The signal to noise ratio is horrible. Way more noise than signal. If it wasn't for mindless "filler" material they'd have no content at all.

I used to watch the channel for Local on the 8’s. It was full screen and usefu!. Then they added a lot of original programming and the local weather became a small print crawl in the bottom of the screen, or it got skipped entirely.
I can get small print weather on my phone a lot easier. I Greensburg forgot why people watched the channel.
If course, Stephanie in the early morning was also a reason to watch.

We only watch Highway Thru Hell on The Weather Channel. For actual weather forecasts? Nope.
