Our ruling class is an ideological monoculture, credentialed in the same schools, imbibing the same attitudes and catchphrases and concerned more than anything else with remaining in good standing with its peers.

It is, in addition, a class profoundly absorbed in maintaining the boundaries between it and its governed inferiors, which I think explains quite a bit about the tendency toward public sexual deviancy. That is far from the only deviancy. The ability to conduct and maintain outright criminal activity without accountability is a similar attempt to bolster that boundary: "We get to do this and you don't" is, after all, a fundamental class relationship as is corruption at an insane level. Who goes to jail? You do, they don't.

To lose one's membership in that class must seem like a death sentence, and for some it is; Epstein and Foster are not available for comment, among many others. This is pretty dark stuff, and these people are real.

One argument for electing candidate Joseph Robinette Biden was that a Biden administration would restore normalcy to Washington. Instead of crazed, self-obsessed MAGA performers, a Biden team would be made up of sober, sensible establishment types. Boring, perhaps, but not crazy.

The problem with this is that what's normal in Washington D.C. are corruption and graft. When Biden was put in office it was a return to the old ways of establishment politicians (dems and reps) milking the system and living hedonistic lifestyles behind the backs of the public. A return to normalcy IS a return to creeps like Sam Brinton and pedophiles like Biden. It's also a return to the system which allows Hunter Biden to peddle his father's influence to Ukraine and China in return for bags of cash.
