The American armoured vehicle MaxxPro MRAP survives intense firefight and saves lives of Ukrainian soldiers

Its armoured capsule is riddled with large-caliber bullets after the combat, with a Russian rocket propelled grenade stuck in it's back door.

Pretty impressive battle damage with the vehicle still appearing to be operable although unsafe with the unexploded RPG round sticking in its back door. Wonder if that was poor Russian QC or if the outside armor is 'soft' enough to mash the firing mechanism without triggering the explosive.

unexploded RPG

Duds happen in every army's arsenal.

This vehicle has no business being in Bidenstan.

Good real-world advertising for Navistar.

I’d say it lived up to their hype.

Real world testing without American casualties.

The MRAP is designed for an insurgency and not for a peer to peer conventional fight.

“Real world testing without American casualties.”

Pretty cool getting the Ukrainians to give up 100,000 or so of their young men to help the US “battle-certify” our hardware. Nice of them, actually!

Since Ukraine did not start this war, I would not see it that way. The Ukrainian casualties would happen with or without this equipment. I was merely pointing out the opportunity it presents for the US military. I also do not think this is the first time the US military has provided equipment to a friendly combatant knowing it would provide valuable data at a safe distance.

If your post was meant to be pro or anti Ukraine I really do not care. I was pointing out the benefit to the US.

Of course it's not good for going up against armored vehicles, but if you get some behind the lines against unsupported infantry, like the Pzkw I, they can still raise hell.

Pzkw I? It’s always about the Reich with you guys lol. I visualize a lot of you guys back in the 70s as 7 year olds, watching the World at War documentary and being sickened as the Germans wound up getting surrounded in Berlin. Lol
