Bingo! That’s the real lesson from this.
I pretty sure that 90% of the admin could be let go at the university I teach at and it would run better. I think students and faculty have remained at about the same level over the last 15 years while they have more than doubled the size of the admin crowd, who just makes work for everyone else to justify their jobs.
