Why would any low risk person want to prevent those? Doing so just paves the way for stronger more deadlier viruses to take hold.

Draconian public health laws are nothing new, but the degree to which governments across the world have embraced them in a brutal grab for power is breathtaking. So, the masks don’t work, the vaccines don’t work, the quarantining doesn’t work, and all we are left with is a residual “follow the rules”. That part won’t ever go away.
In Asia they’ve worn masks since before covid, yet we still get annual flu outbreaks from Asia...

And as I read this during lunch break in my cubicle...I have the sniffles, nose drain and sneezing going on. Quarantine for a slight cold? Not happening...at all.

Truly, you do not understand the reason for mandatory masking. It isn’t to protect the people. It’s all virtue signalling and masks are a highly visible way to send that signal. These rules are mandated to demonstrate that the leaders care about their followers and are doing everything possible to protect them from harm.
