The problem is that someone up in corp made a bad deal with Taylor who has exclusive repair contract on an overly technical machine.

Ray Kroc would have never given Taylor such a contract. The McFlurry fiasco is emblematic of the depths McDonald's has fallen to.

The contract with Taylor as far as they being the only certified repair service for the machines or warranty violated is exactly the same as when Kroc was making the decisions, I know I was managing at the time.
