‘Wokeness’ Used to Be Amusingly Eccentric – Now It’s an Authoritarian Bid to Re-Write the History of Western Civilisation

The Woke want us to eradicate our culture as we know it and replace it with a simplistic worldview in which everyone is either an Oppressor or the Oppressed.

“We reject woke ideology. We will never ever surrender to the woke agenda. Florida is where woke comes to die.”

So said Florida Governor Ron DeSantis when he won a thumping majority in the mid-term elections.

That political use of the term “woke” still has many Australians puzzled.

Wokeness is just Critical Theory pushed by Herbert Marcuse and The Frankfurt School. It’s called the Frankfurt School because they were radicals who escaped from Frankfurt, Germany, and came here to infect this country.

I don’t know if anyone has come across the new concept. But it is fashionable to call any white person a “colonist”. In entertainment I have come across it a few times. It in itself is another form of racism implying that even a 3 year old white girl is considered a colonist .. I guess because she is ...white...so has to carry blame for a bunch of people with her skin color did 100 years ago.

White people in North America were never colonists, but conquerors and settlers. Their nth generation descendants are indigenous by any reasonable definition.

When I say just that I get these blank stares of unbelief. But you see where they are going with this. There is a strain of “thought” that now claims the aboriginals were ALWAYS there, basically countering the idea that aboriginals came over on a land bridge.
