In Hawaii it’s common for hunters to kill boar by jumping on it’s back and cutting the boar’s throat - this of course after three or four dogs have the boar’s legs and it’s splayed out on the ground.
yep- boars can be brutal foes- I wouldn’t want to tackle one-
