Trump was great in 2016 and a fantastic POTUS. But 2020 broke him and he is not the same man. He is making the same mistakes and using the same tactics when the playing field has changed dramatically.
That is why Trump's final legacy will be a midterm disaster for an out-of-power party.

I concur in what you said. I’m no Trump hater, took two weeks off to work for his campaign in another state in 2020 and donated thousands to him in 2016 and 2020. But his conduct lately has been awful - trashing DeSantis and other Rs for NO reason right before the election; being parsimonious with the $ 100 million in his PAC to candidates he pushed in the primaries; semi-announcing for President a few days before the election to bring out the anti-Trump crazies; not speaking up on key issues but dining with Kanye West and some crazy person. Self-inflicted political wounds and very damaging.
