Elon Musk: "At its heart, Twitter is a software and servers company.”

WHAT?? Software and servers???

What about "STAY WOKE" T-shirts, $400 lunches at company expense, therapy sessions every day at 4pm...???

"WHERE'S MY SAFE SPACE??!?!?!? AAAARRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!!! REEEEEEEEEEE...!!!"

> Hopefully, Musk is serious. Prior management thought it was an instrument of social compliance.

“Looking forward, the new Future Ready strategy we introduced this quarter will enable us to better serve our customers and drive long-term value creation by reducing our costs and reinvesting in key growth initiatives to position our business for the future,” HP CEO Enrique Lores

Damn! Lores is giving Harris a run for her money!

Sociopaths rise to the top of large institutions.

Their lies all start to sound the same after a while.

“Their lies all start to sound the same after a while.”

Yep. I spent a lot of years in corporate America and tech and they all sounded alike. Same old gobbledegook and drivel.

As soon as the Fed manages to increase unemployment by at least 2.5% the misery will end. They have to crush the economy to save it. Deliberate economic idiocy.

Everyone still needs personal computers. There will be an ongoing market for the foreseeable future.

Companies with the right plan will survive.

“It is a poorly kept secret in Silicon Valley that companies ranging from Google to Meta to Twitter to Uber could achieve similar levels of revenue with far fewer people,” the investor wrote.

Not just Silicon Valley. Look for massive headcount reductions across all industries, as the recent wage spike has now made new automated solutions look far more affordable.

Democrats and their Socialist solutions to be the biggest beneficiaries...

True, but with all the manufacturing ability out there, they can be made many times faster than the market needs. Some companies will not survive...............

Democrats and their Socialist solutions to be the biggest drivers of this trend.

Corporations exist to make money for investors/owners.

Automation is driven by the cost of labor.

Lessen the cost of labor and maximize profits.

As was once written many, many years ago:

The factory of the future will have only two employees, a man and a dog. The man will be there to feed the dog. The dog will be there to keep the man from touching the equipment. - Warren Bennis...

Yeah. It’s not like we haven’t heard that cliche before. I’m pretty sure that statement can be found in some MBA textbook somewhere.
